JMTC’s D-lactide is a raw material for PDLA (poly D-lactic acid), a cyclic dimerization of D-lactic acid made from a plant-derived raw material.

PDLA is a type of biodegradable resin, and using PDLA as a modifier of PLLA (poly D-lactic acid) can improve its heat resistance and strength.

JMTC D-lactide shows low acid value and law moisture content, suitable for higher Mw polymers.
