Double Decker Silsesquioxane-Norbornane-2,3-dicarboxylic Anhydride substituted

Double Decker Silsesquioxane-Norbornane-2,3-dicarboxylic Anhydride substituted is a bifunctionalized alicyclic acid dianhydride of double-decker silsesquioxane, which can be used as a raw material for transparent polyimide resin.

Among silsesquioxane, which is a low-dielectricity, highly heat-resistant silicon compound, double-decker (cage) silsesquioxane has a particularly bulky and rigid structure and is superior in heat resistance and mechanical strength.

Double Decker Silsesquioxane-Norbornane-2,3-dicarboxylic Anhydride substituted has made it possible to use double-decker silsesquioxane (cage type) as a raw material for transparent polyimide resin by converting it into an alicyclic acid diohydride with outstanding transparency.

By combining Double Decker Silsesquioxane-Norbornane-2,3-dicarboxylic Anhydride substituted with various diamines to make transparent polyimide resins, we expect to obtain transparent polyimide resins with high heat resistance, low dielectricity, and low linear thermal expansion.
